This is Athena, my lovely dwarf hampster. I got bored taking pictures so I snapped like 100 today, kind of two practices in one. firstly that I had to focus on such a small object so close to me, and secondly, on something that KEPT MOVING a lot. hampsters are not the most cooperative subjects (hence the food, that worked!) But I chose six shots that I liked most, and here they are.

Total cuteness, I feel your pain when it comes to snapping good pics of rodents, I have a chinese hamster and a rat and getting good photos was more due to luck on my part because they wouldn't keep still :P

Really good shot, your little hammie is gorgeous!

Ha I did a search of dwarf hamsters and found this. I, for one, am amazed that you got such a good shot.
Wow! Not even food will distract my hamster Jean Claude. He just stuffs it in his cheeks and moves on... and my other Robo dwarf hamster named Turbo acts likes he's on meth and runs about like madman.. er.. hamster. So, yeah, kudos to you!
